Remington's Birthday Party

This year for Remi's birthday party he wanted to have a roller skating party. He seemed a little young for this type of party, but he had to copy his cousin Belle (who is 12) and wouldn't except anything less. He invited his entire school class, church class, cousins, and anyone else he could possibly think of. We rented out the skating rink, so it didn't matter if he invited 10 people or 100 people. I think everyone had a great time.

Sadly we have one injury to report. Grandpa Hill fell and cracked the back of his head open. In typical male Hill fashion, he refused to go to the hospital to have it stitched up. He preferred to just glue it when he got home. He went home to do his yard work, so I think that he is doing well.

We are so appreciative of all of our family who were willing to come and hang out with a bunch of little kids for a couple of hours. It was a lot of fun to watch the "older" people try to skate again after many years without doing it. Remi said that he had a great time, so that makes all of the work (and of course the money) worth it.
