Wall-E has taken over!

Who knew that a silly character could control everything we do. The movie Wall-E has been out for quite awhile, but for some reason Maddox's fascination came a little later. We had seen Maddox imitate Wall-E really well and when we came across this cute toy, we thought he would love it. Now that was just a bit of an understatement! We don't go anywhere without Wall-E. It began with the movie, then the toy, and now.....his underwear. He refuses to wear anything other than his Wall-E underwear.

Now to any of you parents that have purchased little boy's character briefs, you know that most of them come with the character on the backside. I don't know who the genius was that did that, but it was a big mistake. It doesn't work if the child can't see the character. Okay, so you may be thinking that since they are covered underneath their clothing it doesn't matter. Ohhhh, it matters! It matters a lot! In our house those said briefs are worn backwards. He is so proud of them, he thinks he needs to show everyone he knows....and sometimes people he doesn't. Juuuust a little awkward.

And then there's Eve...

This is what Eve looks like in the movie. When we bought Wall-E, we couldn't find a smaller sized Eve. At the time we didn't think it mattered, but apparently it did. Since we didn't buy him one, he created his own.

This is Maddox's version of Eve...

That is actually baby fingernail clippers. Not anymore. In our house, that is Eve.

Maddox is such a fun, creative kid. He makes us laugh everyday with the new things he comes up with. I guess we will have to tolerate the backwards underwear and Wall-E and Eve going everywhere we go for awhile. Whatever makes him happy, makes me happy.

Okay so that kid is seriously creative! The clippers crack me up! Wow! Totally looks like Eve! And you are totally right! Who was the genius behind the character on the behind idea? Duh! ....must have been a man!
